Valentines inspiration

Hey Bloggers! Today I thought I would take a break from Mr Holmes and post something more appropriate for this month. I was looking through old card samples this morning and I came across this sample card I made for my Candy Shop TV show back in 2011 and I thought this would be a perfect card for Valentines. Apologies if you have seen this card from the show, but I don’t think I actually blogged it. I have used my Candy Shop stamp set which I stamped and onto Coconut white cardstock and then coloured in with promarkers. Who would of thought that Pink, Grey, Red and White would be quite an elegant colour combo, I love the soft pink colour! I stamped the old penny sweet sign on to some Kraft cardstock to create a custom backing paper. The bottom piece is some grey polka dot paper I had in my stash. I used a piece of Red Rustic Gingham across the middle. I have decided I am going to use this card as my inspiration for my Monthly Journal page (yes I am a tad behind lol)
