Valentines inspiration
Hey Bloggers! Today I thought I would take a break from Mr Holmes and post something more appropriate for this month. I was looking through old card samples this morning and I came across this sample card I made for my Candy Shop TV show back in 2011 and I thought this would be a perfect card for Valentines. Apologies if you have seen this card from the show, but I don’t think I actually blogged it. Click HERE to see some of my Chocolate sample cards which also would be perfect for Valentines cards.
I have used my Candy Shop stamp set which I stamped and onto Coconut white cardstock and then coloured in with promarkers. Who would of thought that Pink, Grey, Red and White would be quite an elegant colour combo, I love the soft pink colour! I stamped the old penny sweet sign on to some Kraft cardstock to create a custom backing paper. The bottom piece is some grey polka dot paper I had in my stash. I used a piece of Red Rustic Gingham across the middle. I have decided I am going to use this card as my inspiration for my Monthly Journal page (yes I am a tad behind lol)
I just thought I would take this opportunity to let you know that I have some NEW Prima goodies on the shop. I love this range called ‘Engraver’. There are new Paper Pads in 6×6 and A4 sized you can find here, Buttons, Wooden Icons, brads and Junkyard Findings you can find here.
And also a Spiral Bound Mixed Media Journal designed by Ania Dabrowska aka Finnabair. It is a “7.5″x “9.5″, the inside covers have pocket sleeves. 24 sheets kraft paper, 12 sheets white paper, and 4 page protectors. A must have for any Art Journal fans!
We also have the NEW Moustache Mask which I used on my Sherlock Holmes shows.
All for now, S@m x
