Hey Bloggers! Today I am finally allowed to reveal some new designs that will be available VERY SOON – called ‘Art Houses’. Something a bit different but these houses can be used for so many different styles. I have created these images using various textures such as newsprint and various vintage objects that I have merged into house collages.
Here is a card I made over the weekend, featuring some of those gorgeous new Prima goodies….yes I was naughty and just had to have some! lol
I started of with a piece of ruler paper from the new Prima ‘Engraver’ A4 Paper Pad…..ok so my latest obsession is rulers and this papers is gorgeous! I then stamped my new Ruler A6 Background stamp (also Available soon) onto some pale brown cardstock for an extra layer.
I then used the ‘Brick Wall’ stencil by Wendy Vecchi and distressed some Brushed Corduroy Distress Ink randomly on top of the Ruler image. The house was stamped and embossed in black and then coloured with Promarkers to match the backing paper.
I used one of the new Prima Junkyard Findings ‘Nuts & Bolts‘ with the word ‘Art’ on and I also used one of the new Prima Wooden Icons ‘Borders’ (wooden ruler) When I saw Prima were releasing these wooden embellishments I was very excited to use the Rulers for Mixed Media Projects.
I also created my own embellishment by stamping all of the houses in a row onto some shrink plastic. They are so cute this tiny! To finish the card I stamped the phrase ‘Live Laugh Love’ also from the Art Houses stamp set onto some Kraft cardstock and embossed in black. I used a white pen to highlight the words to make them ‘pop’. This was then layered onto a piece of Tim’s Kraft Glassine Paper which I scrunched up.
Hope you like my latest stamp design!?
All for now, S@m x
