Much needed catch up
Hey Bloggers! Apologies for being so quiet recently….I am in full prep mode for my TV shows on the 23rd of this month. I also took a little holiday last week for a break away for some quality family time and I also taught a workshop at the lovely ‘Sparkle Dreams’ in Swindon…more on that in a moment.
A few months back I booked a log cabin for a week at the New Forest….the camp site was called ‘sandy Balls’….Yes what a dreadful name haha! But it was a lovely site which was basically like a version of Centre Parcs. We spent the week walking, swimming, shopping, checking out the sights of Poole and just generally having some nice family time with Leah. Even though I still have lots more samples to make for my TV shows I feel much better just taking a step away from things and come back feeling refreshed and raring to go again.
So as I said earlier I did manage to squeeze in a workshop over the weekend at Sparkle Dreams in Swindon. I had a lovely day sharing my ideas and meeting all the lovely ladies there…..and boy did I work them hard! They all managed to achieve some lovely pieces of art work and enjoyed themselves. I would like to say a huge thank you to Sandie and Solance for arranging for me to come down there to teach in their lovely shop. They made me feel so welcome and I can honestly say that I felt like a true friendship between us was formed..Thanks ladies!
Here are a few ‘action shots’ which Solance sneakily took without me realizing lol We made two cards and one small canvas using my ‘Art Houses’ rubber stamps. The food was pretty awesome too! 
Right I best get back to demo prep!

I love the New Forest, having spent many chidhood holidays there, I relax as soon as I cross the cattle grids leading into the Forest at Ringwood….. looking forward to watching your shows later this month….. x
