Hey Bloggers! I just want to say a huge thank you to everyone for the support you have shown me on the release of my new stamp sets. I am truely overwhelmed and very grateful
I must admit I was very nervous from the build up of the shows but once I got crafting my nerves went away. It was lovely working with Leonie on both shows, I think we work really well together so thank you Leonie for two great shows! Also, I would like to thank everyone for placing an order with me on my shop…your goodies will be shipped out on Monday
I just wanted to quickly post up my demo samples for any of you who missed the shows. Just a quick post from me today as I drink my lemsip and feel sorry for myself…I’ve come down with flu it would seem but I am just thankful this happened today and not yesterday so I could get through my shows.

Hey Bloggers! Today I would like to share how to create this nautical knot. At the risk of looking ‘special’ on TV and forgetting how I made this I have decided to opt out of demonstrating this live because I dont think it would be easy to follow on TV…far easier to look at step by step pictures right?!

Step 1: Take two strands of rope the same length…I cut mine approx 14 inches (35cm) This gives you plenty of rope to tuck underneath you layers.

Step 2: Take one piece of the rope and cross over.

Step 3: Take you second piece of rope and arrange like this.

Step 4: Keeping your first peice of rope in the original postion, bring down the second piece of rope like this.

Step 5: And then under and over like this.

Step 6: And over and under again like this. The Knot is now forming!

Step 7: Pull the four ends of rope evenly to create your perfect Knot!

I hope you have found this tutorial easy to follow!

Hey Bloggers! A few of you have asked when my new stamp sets will be available to purchase on the shop…I will hopefully have these available the day of the show (17th) but I will put a blog post out if they arrive sooner than this. Today I wanted to share another sample for the show.

I stamped the focal image on parchment paper and embossed in white embossing powder. I then used ‘Lacey Circles S4-29and threaded the cord in and out of the loop holes. I believe the paper was October Afternoon. When I saw this paper I knew I just had to have it for my ship cards because of the red and blue stripes. The rest of the images were stamped and embossed in gold embossing powder and then cut out.
I have had a few requests on pictures of Leah, so here is my gorgeous smiley girl at 7months

Hey Bloggers! Thank you all so much for your lovely comments on the previous post. Its a week tomorrow (friday 17th) until my show and I still have a few ideas for samples to make. I’ve just realised that I haven’t revealed the names of the two new stamp sets…drumroll please….’Nautical Journey’ and ‘Weigh Anchor’ . Today I thought I’d share another sample.

I dont usually make alot of stepper cards but I was quite pleased with how this one turned out. This entire card was created just using one colour ink pad ‘Denim‘ Adirondack Ink. I started with stamping and embossing my images in clear, followed by some cut’n'dry distressed edges.

As you all know I have a 7month old daughter who takes up alot of my time so I was delighted when Sue offered to help make samples for my show. This is a card which Sue has put on her blog today, so click HERE for all the details on how she made it. Thanks Sue!
